History
It is said that in this world nothing is certain except death and taxes. In America, you can add beer to that list. At Prime Meats in Brooklyn, NY, Damon Boelte made this bastardization of the Americano by mixing Campari with two sweet vermouths and topping it up with Einbecker, a German pilsner. The different vermouths give a nice balanced floral undertone to the drink, complimenting the crispness of the beer. Although Einbecker was Boelte's choice, any ultracrisp pilsner will work for this concoction.
