Welcome to Stir Society. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who the site is for
Stir Society is about alcoholic drinks and is meant for adults of legal drinking age in the place where they live. Please drink responsibly, never drive after drinking, and do not serve alcohol to anyone underage.
Information only
- Recipes, history, articles and tips are shared for general information and enjoyment. Recipes marked draft have not yet been verified.
- We do our best to be accurate but make no promises. Check ingredients for allergies and sensitivities, and use your own judgment, especially with raw eggs, flame, infusions or high-proof spirits.
- Nothing here is medical, legal or professional advice.
Accounts
You can browse without an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in details to yourself and give accurate information. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
Your content
Anything you create, such as private variations, notes and photos, belongs to you. You give Stir Society permission to store it and show it back to you, which is all that is needed to run the feature. Private variations are not shown to other visitors. Only upload photos you took yourself or have the right to use, and nothing unlawful or harmful.
Using the site fairly
Please do not misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, to access other people’s accounts or data, or to copy it in bulk by automated means.
Our content
- The text, design, brand and original photographs of Stir Society belong to its creators. You may share links and quote short excerpts with credit; please ask before reusing more.
- Some photographs come from third parties under open licenses (such as Creative Commons) and carry their own credit lines on the page where they appear.
- Cocktail names and brand names mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners. Their use here is descriptive and does not imply endorsement.
Links to other sites
We may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
No warranty and limits on liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, Stir Society and its creators are not liable for any loss or harm arising from using the site or relying on its content, and we may change, pause or stop the site or any feature at any time.
