Ingredients

1 ozAmaro Montenegro
1 ozSherry Fino
1 ozFresh lime juice
1 ozSimple syrup
Top withSoda water

Method

Fill a Collins/Highball glass with ice
Add all ingredients except soda water to a shaker and shake well
Strain into glass over ice and top with soda water
Garnish with orange slice

History

Dan Greenbaum, from Attaboy in NYC, made this aperitivo cocktail to create something light, palatable, and not too boozy for brunch. In his words, "The idea was to make a drink that you could have a few of and not get too drunk." (from The Essential Cocktail Deck by Punch).
